St
George, with excellent beaches, popular with
couples and families wanting to avoid the big
crowds and traffic. St George is on the south
west coast, 20 miles south of Corfu Town and
Corfu airport. St George is a small resort with
no real traditional centre but offering a decent
choice of tavernas and bars, a couple of discos
and basic shopping.
