Cost Holidays come out on Top |
| We
recently carried out a quick search and
survey of the online holiday companies,
we checked the websites for ease of use,
facts and figures, if they give all
details regarding flights, hotels and
transfers and those dreaded "hidden
extras" we found for ease of use,
value for money " Low
Cost Holidays " came out number
first closely followed by " On
the beach " who were not that
clear regarding transfers which isn't
really a problem, we carried out a quick
search with a2btransfers.com
who worked out cheaper than booking
through holiday companies. |

Corfu
is particularly popular with young singles who
favour the more lively resorts. With dazzling
nightlife and an impressively packed menu of
daily activities the resorts of Kavos and Ipsos
are extremely popular with those who want to
cram as much as they possibly can into their
holiday. And that category doesn’t just
include singles; families are particularly well
catered for at most resorts and indeed, many of
the package holidays to Corfu are geared
primarily towards them.
Throughout Corfu lively tavernas offering
traditional Greek fare sit seamlessly alongside
western influenced restaurants. Whatever
holidaymaker’s individual tastes the huge
variety of food and drink available should
satisfy even the most discerning diner, whatever
their age! And if you need a break from the
sheer joy of your beach holiday Corfu Town
offers everything you’d expect from a large
cosmopolitan capital.
Most UK regional and national airports offer flights
to Corfu Town departing regularly throughout the
summer months; many carrying eager travellers on
their well-deserved package holidays to Corfu.

ABTA
- the Travel Association has predicted a late
surge in overseas holiday bookings, as the Met
Office admits its much-publicised summer
heatwave may never appear.
According to ABTA, the Met Office is now saying
that the mixed weather of July will continue
into August. And the Mediterranean is looking
more and more appealing to sun-starved British
holiday-makers with temperatures in the 40s.
ABTA members including Thomson
holidays and LowCostHolidays.com
are reporting increases in business of up to
30% over the last two weeks and 40% up on the
same period last year. Many customers are
looking for last minute holidays to escape the
dreary summer at home. |
